Website redesign without losing rankings
Does your website look outdated, work poorly on phones or load slowly? I give it a new look and a modern foundation — and make sure you lose no content, links or Google rankings.
When it is time for a redesign
A website is often the first thing a customer sees of you. When it does not work, you lose enquiries without knowing it.
The site is over 5 years old
It looks dated and is hard to read or use on a phone.
The site is slow
It takes long to load, especially on phones, and people leave before they see your offer.
The site brings no enquiries
There are visits, but people do not get in touch. A clear offer and call to action are missing.
It cannot be edited
Every change has to be made by someone else — or nobody knows how any more.
What a redesign includes
Audit
I review the content, speed, mobile version, SEO and what visitors actually do on the site.
New design
A modern look matching your brand, a clear structure and a clear call to action.
Content kept
I carry over texts, photos and documents. What works stays; what does not, we rewrite.
Redirecting old addresses
Every old address leads to a new page (301 redirect). Links from Google and partners keep working.
Speed and mobile
Optimised images, modern code and controls designed for phones first.
SEO and AI search
Headings, descriptions, structured data and a sitemap so Google, Seznam and ChatGPT read the site well.
Redesign in practice
The website of the construction company Tomáš Vlk is being redesigned right now. The working demo Stavby Josef shows what a modern construction company site can look like — with a price calculator and a project gallery.
How a redesign works
Audit
I find out what works on the current site and what does not — including where visits come from.
Design
A new structure and look. You see it before I start coding.
Build and content migration
The new site is built separately while the old one keeps running.
Switch-over
Redirects, checks in Google Search Console and monitoring rankings after launch.
How much a redesign costs
A redesign is priced like a new website: a presentation site of up to 5 pages up to CZK 10,000 (Starter), a larger company site up to CZK 50,000 (Pro). Content migration and redirects are included.
You get the exact price after the audit, up front and fixed.
- number of pages to migrate
- whether texts are rewritten too
- integration with other systems
- number of language versions
What people ask
Not if it is done properly. I keep addresses where possible, redirect the rest, carry over titles and descriptions and monitor Search Console after launch. Short-term fluctuations are normal; in the long run the site should improve thanks to speed and better content.
Yes. The new site is built separately and the old one runs until you approve the new one.
The domain, certainly. The hosting too, if it is suitable — otherwise I recommend a better one and handle the move.
That is possible, but I recommend reviewing the content and technical state as well. Often the main problem is that the site does not clearly say what you offer.
